Wellbeing for Education Return
Redbridge Educational Wellbeing Team (REWT) are leading the government DfE initiative entitled “Wellbeing for Education Return - WER”. This training package promotes wellbeing and positive mental health in schools in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Last term our main focus for the WER programme was a series of workshops aimed primarily at our school staff. Once again, all Redbridge schools can access our training about supporting Children and Young People (CYP) as well as parents and staff wellbeing. This term we are increasing our support to include Social Workers (SWs)and Foster Carers (FCs).
We were very happy with the response we received from our parent workshops which highlighted that 100% of our Redbridge parents thought the sessions were beneficial and were able to take actions from the session to apply to their daily lives.
This term we are going to be delivering an additional six workshops.
What are the topic areas for the parent workshops?
