Year 5 visited the Redbridge Museum in Ilford where they got to explore the many local artefacts from the Victorian era. They were able to take part in a Victorian wash day and look at how a Victorian kitchen would’ve looked and worked during that time period. We are really lucky to have such resources and facilities available to us. If you haven’t already, see if you can take a trip to Valentines Mansion House which is open to the public and see a Victorian house in its full glory.
